At St. Matthew's the fourth and fifth graders have the honor of reenacting the gospel on Christmas Eve. The parts including solo singing and acting. Nolan was ecstatic about the opportunity and tried out! I was amazed at his lack of fear and beautiful voice! He made the cut for Joseph and did an amazing job! We were fortunate that for the first time in our 7 years in Texas both sets of grandparents were able to see him perform! On the night before mass, Nolan told me that he really would never want to be Joseph. When I asked why, he said:" Would you want to see your son hung on a cross?".
