POWER LAB!

Last week we had a FANTASTICALLY FUN time at Vacation Bible School! The theme this year was "Power Lab" so there were a lot of neat science expirements to illustate the goespel. I was a team leader and had Nolan, Nathan, 2 of Nolan's school friends and one of Nathan's in my group. What fun to be with both of them. A very sweet Grandma type lady watched Aleah in the nursery so I had some free "big boy" time with the guys! Amazingly, we learned that Nolan has a musical side, he learned all the songs and dances and was always one of the first on stage! Nathan on the other hand who is always performing at home was a bit shy to dance. In the pics you can see Nolan on stage. The one w/ Nolan and Nathan, Nathan was Peter and Nolan was a discipile protecting him from the storm. We also made slime, bouncy balls, exploded a bottle of coke, and walked on water! What did we learn? Jesus gives us the power to: help others, be brave, to live forever, to be thankful, and to spread the good news!
