This is a blog from week#4. The big news is that as Aleah is adjusting to the world, her big brother is growing up at a supersonic pace! He is doing great at his new school and was elected as student council representative for the first grade. I think we owe the election to his loud voice and his inherited tendency to be a bit "chatty" as well as a nice guy! Anyway it makes me happy because he has a 7th grade "big brother" on the council who makes Nolan feel very special! There was a special induction mass where they all received student council pins and were reminded to be good examples and leaders. He wears his pin proudly every Wed on his tie for school mass. He looks very cute! That is his picture on the alter the kids were all in spirit attire that day, I will have to get a church uniform picture up sometime. His comment on being elected? He came running to the car and said that something really good happened at school that day; "I was elected to the constitution!" is what he said then he said or something but it is good, look in my folder! In other areas of life, he is growing tall and becoming to me very mature, Aleah's arrival has him taking charge at home especially of Nathan. He is teaching him to write and reads to him all the time. Aleah is bringing them together even more as she does seem to be a bit of work, good work, but busy for Mommy. Colick has also set in which is why the blog is behind. Anyway, it is exciting to see Nolan growing and I am loving the young man he is!Grandma Suszan came for three days to meet Aleah and she is also hooked! The boys were happy to have a deversion and some Grandma spoiling!
