Artic Blast 2007

What fun and excitement to live where it snows every twenty years! We have had temps in the high 20s and freezing rain since last night. The school activated a phone chain and school was canceled. All Gregg's patients canceled, highways are closed; the city has shut down! It seems a bit crazy at first but really wise as the city is not equipped for such a mess and I imagine many accidents were avoided by the shut down... We are not in Michigan anymore.... People were en mass at Walmart yesterday buying milk, hats, scarves, and gloves. It was really fun to see Nolan's face light up at having a "snow day" (one tomorrow too)! I have secretly felt bad that he would never experience a "snowday". Alass, it is only kindergarten and he has two! We celebrated by going to "Inflatable World". An indoor play place full of moonbounces! Nolan is now outside collecting ice and eatting it and storing it in the freezer. There is a fire burning and hot chocolate brewing....
