We've just returned from a week at South Padre Island tan, happy, refreshed, and ready to start SECOND GRADE!!! We spent the week, laying around and fighting the waves in the ocean. Aleah was not into the waves like her brothers but she loved the sand and was fascinated by the sea gulls! We also saw the sea turtle refuge and Daddy and the boys rode some awesome go-karts but we didn't have the camera (sometimes spontanaety and three kids over rules organization!). Nathan's cast did not hold him back. Gregg and I are amazed at how adventursome the boys are, Nathan would get wacked by a wave and then get back up with an infectious belly laugh for more. Gregg and I took turns sand playing w/ Aleah and then wave riding with the boys; the boys wore us out so much, we were ready for some baby play! Nolan spent some of his summer job money and bought a sand board which Gregg went in halves with because he wanted to relive his childhood. Note in the picture Gregg is striking a great surfer pose but the board is next to him instead of under him! We had a good laugh!
