Fiesta!!!

San Antonio has a long, pretty riverwalk that is used several times a year as an excuse to have a party. In the spring, we celebrate Fiesta, no one is sure why; "tradition" I suppose. Anyway, it is very crowded downtown with activities so most schools have Fiesta for the kids. Nathan had to make a float and parade it around the gym. This was followed by a party with carnival games and food (reason #23 to move to San Antonio!). In the spirit of the world of a 4 year old, Spiderman won out and he was requested as the star of the float! Other kids had stuffed animals, Barbie, Transformers, bubbles, balloons. It was really very cute and well done. Nathan was beaming with pride. As a finale of the celebration, they had a spring program called "Amerikids" Nathan had a part : "America is a red, white, and blue tomorrow for all those who hold the hope of freedom in their hearts. Three cheers for the red, white, and blue!" I was nervous; he was GREAT!!!! What a ham... Aleah is a ham too! Nolan was busy playing photographer (his school did not do Fiesta).
