Well Aleah and Mommy took a weekend trip to MI to give Grandma and Grandpa a dose of Aleah before she gets too big which is happening a bit too fast for Mommy's liking... So, Daddy decided to take advantage and take the boys on their very first campout with Daddy! They went to Bastrop State Park about an hour and a half away. Upon arrival, Daddy got a few calls about patients at work (luckily ER docs can save the day!), then a can of beans EXPLODED in the fire, Nolan lost a tooth but spit it out with his smores in the dark thinking it was a rock. They looked but could not find the tooth so they had to write the Fairy a note then Daddy had to sneak out of the tent and search the car for loose change as he had no dollar bills! Needless to say, a goodtime was had by all! They will go again. Nolan said "Daddy thought he had it under control but really we needed you Mommy." I love that boy! Of course the three of them have been walking around all week singing their camping chants.

Nothing like alittle Mano AMano!!! time to make everyone appreciate Mom!! But! Male bonding just isn't the same when she is around! They'll have enormous fun recounting the tales around the campfires in the years to come! I'm certain the CAMPOUT will become an annual event! NOGIRLSALLOWED!!!! NoCansInTheCampfireEverAgain! Lesson learned and great story 4 a laugh!! Glad no one got hurt!!!!Keep makin' those memories!!! Love mom
