What a joy Nathan was on his birthday! I have to say it was magical! He woke up in amazement that he was "really" five! he went to school and celebrated there with cupcakes and homemade chocolate lollipops that we made together. Then Nolan surprised him and picked him up from school. We then met Daddy for lunch and went to Toys R Us. Then a big party at Chuck E Cheese where you can just see the delight on his face! We finished off with a sleepover with his best buddy Zachary and a chocolate chip pancake breakfast! Zachary ended up sleeping with Nolan and Nathan slept with me in my bed because he could not calm down until about 11:30. He told me:"I think tomorrow will have to be a big day again because when you change numbers like this, you need a few big days." He is truely one of my best gifts!
