Happy Father's day all dads near and far! We love you all! Father's Day 2008 in Texas was overall a good one with a funny little twist;fitting for father's everywhere... It all started nice with happy children in bed eatting breakfast with Daddy. We laid around and made a loaf of bread in our breadmaker. Dressed Aleah all adorable for church, socks, shoes, dress, hat.... She was down to dress only by end of the goespel crawling and chattering on the floor. Nathan started getting crabby and loud. So we went home after church and put Nathan down for a nap. He awoke crying and with a very hoarse voice and snotty nose. Grandpa Ron came and the Brunets. Appaerently Damien nearly killed the girls on a two mile hike w/o water in 98 degree heat. So we prepared a beautiful steak dinner and everyone jumped in the pool. Gregg talked Grandpa Ron into the water (probably the second time his entire life). I got adorable "three generation Ales men" pics in the pool and then we suffered a "biological hazzard" of sorts. Baby was not in the pool. TUrns out someone is sick and the pool had to be evacuated (very effective if you want guests to leave). Everyone showered and dressed and we played inside. It was awhile before anyone was upto dessert! We all had fun and will tell the tale even better 5 years from now! So nice it was family!
